Adapted Adventurer
My Story
Hi, I’m Mike—at Adapted Adventurer!
Life’s an epic road trip, and I’m navigating it one adventure at a time. I’m a curious explorer, passionate advocate for veterans, and a sunset-chasing photographer with a knack for capturing the world’s beauty from behind the lens.
I’ve worn many hats in my journey—from paramedic in the army and as a civilian to system performance engineer during the dawn of the cellular age. But in 2003, life threw me a curveball: multiple sclerosis. It changed my path, but not my destination. Sure, MS slowed my pace, but it didn’t touch my determination to live fully and authentically.

Adapting and Thriving
Living with MS has been a masterclass in resilience. Every day, I’m learning and growing, whether it’s mastering assistive tech or picking up new hobbies (did I mention I’m a fan of astrophotography?). I believe in pushing boundaries and finding joy in life’s little victories.
Engage, Explore, Empower
My secret? Staying engaged—mind, body, and soul. Whether I’m advocating for veterans, rolling into new RV adventures with my wife Chris, or marveling at the cosmos, I embrace life’s endless opportunities for growth.
Family and friends are my compass. Chris and I have built a life rooted in love and laughter, and I treasure the friendships that have stood the test of time. Together, we’ve proven that life’s greatest joys come from connection and community.
Why Join Me?
